One of the stakeholders of the Space Apps Challenge-International Space Applications Competition, which has been organized by NASA for 11 years, was the Turkish Space Agency (TUA).

ANKARA (IGFA) – Industry and Technology Minister Mehmet Fatih Kacır highlighted the Turkish National Space Program and said that one of the new stakeholders of this large organization with more than 30,000 competitors is the Turkish Space Agency.

Emphasizing that Turkey will show its presence around the world to be among the countries that have a say in space, Minister Kacır said: “Thousands of teams participating in the competition every year present their projects that show cooperation and potential in solving the difficulties on Earth and in space. “Multiple evaluations are conducted to determine the winners of the most innovative and effective projects,” he said.

According to the news on the official website of the Ministry of Industry and Technology, Kacır explained that they cooperated with NASA through the Turkish Space Agency for the competition this year, saying: “In this way, we also benefit from their experiences capturing areas for our own space projects and experiences. We are a country with ambitious goals in the National Space Program announced by our President Recep Tayyip Erdogan. We will invest more in space technologies.” used his words.
