ZOLA is a new bet from Teufel, an old well-known German brand with the spirit of a music lover, which enters the gaming world mainly in its comfort zone, i.e. sound. And it won’t go badly.
When we open the usual artisan cardboard box with a simple design, we find ourselves in contrast with bold helmets, with a modern finish and accessories in bright colors, in contrast to the usual more sober and elegant lines that we are used to. It’s not a complaint, there’s always a time for everything.
After opening the box, in addition to ZOLA, we also find several accessories that allow us to customize our headphones:
Dimensions | 17.7 x 19.2 x 9 cm |
Mass | 300 g |
connection | 3.5mm jack input female | 3.5mm microphone input |
Compatibility | Android, iOS, Mac OS Microsoft |

Full-range speakers (diameter) | 40 mm |

The Teufel ZOLA headphones have a strong weight and dimensions. However, its specifications are designed to guarantee comfort during extended use, and it succeeds. This is thanks to the precise design of its cushions, which perfectly surround the ear; because they are made of a strong and breathable woven filling; and its padded headband that fits perfectly without creasing even after several hours of use. Granted, it varies a lot depending on everyone’s physiognomy and how the device adjusts, but in my case, they were really comfortable after long days of use. And according to the manufacturer, they are even suitable for users with glasses.
These are wired headphones that include a small control to adjust both the volume and to activate or deactivate the microphone, including a small clip in case you want to attach it to your clothing.
As we are used to by Teufel, these headphones are made of quality materials including aluminum and plastic, which guarantees their durability. One of the most notable aspects that is particularly attractive about the ZOLA is customization. They are available in two basic colors, light gray and dark gray, but the accessories (ear pads, covers and microphone protector, which are included and can be purchased separately) can be found in six different colors: coral red, dark gray, golden amber , aqua greenish (the one we had the chance to test), light gray and teal & lime. Which makes a total of 12 different combinations, even more if we decide to buy accessories of different colors.
As a detail, even in the interface of the audio software, you can adjust the image that appears on the Teufel ZOLA to be the same as the ones you have, or even create color combinations in order to purchase additional accessories.
ZOLA headphones are equipped with 40mm wideband drivers that deliver powerful, deep bass, natural mids and smooth highs. The design of the earcup, as we mentioned before, is closed, which helps to isolate sound from the environment and improve immersion.
They include DTS Headphone:X V2 technology, which provides 7.1 binaural surround sound on PC. Looking at it from a player’s point of view, this technology allows for accurate positioning of opponents and an immersive gaming experience. Highly valued.
It also has Teufel’s own software that is specific to this model. In addition to setting the volume, microphone and activating or deactivating the spatial mode, it has the option of a voice filter called “Magic voice”, which allows us to add a funnier tone to our voice, even if it is not suitable for work meetings. Finally, the most interesting option is the equalizer, which allows you to choose between 5 predefined modes and the Custom option to choose the setting that suits you best.
ZOLA headphones have a 3.5 mm jack input and a 3.5 mm microphone input. In addition, they have a USB 7.1 sound card that provides a high-quality surround sound experience. They include an integrated DSP that enables personalized and optimized audio tuning for an immersive and lossless audio experience.
In addition to the USB connection for DSP-optimized lossless digital transmission, the ZOLA headphones also have an AUX connection with a secure bayonet connector. This auxiliary connection includes cable kink protection to ensure a secure and reliable connection.
The package includes a detachable and adjustable microphone thanks to the flexible arm. It is equipped with a built-in HD condenser that ensures excellent speech intelligibility even for working from home or playing online games.
They are compatible with a wide range of devices and with Android, iOS, Mac OS and Microsoft operating systems.
In short, Teufel’s ZOLA headphones offer an ergonomic design, quality materials, wide compatibility and advanced technical features such as DTS Headphone:X technology and integrated DSP. With high-quality speakers and customization options, these headphones are designed to provide an immersive audio experience and meet the needs of gamers and non-gamers alike.
They are available in two colors of the headband and 6 colors of accessories. You can find them in the official Teufel store at a discounted price €99.99 (original price €129.99).
