It is true that if we list the technical specifications of both screens, we see that Apple has opted for perfection, and I’m sure that working with both monitors must be a really pleasant experience, which I could confirm when I tried them in person. Which brings us back to the eternal debate about whether or not it’s worth the price-quality ratio (because if we’re talking exclusively about quality, there’s really not much debate), a question that has as many answers as there are people.

However, defenders and opponents usually agree that it is based on their technical specifications they could have done much more than they are doing. For example, the Apple Studio Display is equipped with the Apple A13 Bionic SoC, the same chip that powers the 9th generation iPad, the iPhone 11, 11 Pro/Pro Max​ and the 2nd generation iPhone SE, but with the difference that you don’t use it anywhere near the screens full benefits.

The good news is that changes seem to be coming in this regard. As we can read in Ars Technica, Apple is working on a new monitor that will have an “always on” function, so it will display content when the computer is turned off. Recall that the company first adopted Always-on technology in the Pro models of the current iPhone generation, which was released last September.
