Mobile has become day-to-day essential tool. In addition to being able to communicate with loved ones, we have networks, powerful cameras and a monstrous entertainment center. However, it also allows us to do many Administration procedures without going to an office and turning on the computer.

And one of the star apps is Cl@ve PIN. Or rather, it was because the app has been revamped with a new design and some other new functionality. Easier to use now and something more useful thanks to QR reading.

New Cl@ve app: more accessible and with a QR reader

While there are times when cl@ve isn’t gone or some transactions are caught, the truth is The application is most useful for conducting procedures from home.. In addition, it is very simple to use: once installed and connected to our DNI, when we want to access an Administration page with this system, we receive a three-character alphanumeric code that is valid for ten minutes.

It is a reliable and secure verification system., as a practically mandatory practice when we reach a certain age and need to carry out procedures. Today the Tax Office released an update for Cl@ve on Android that lost the last name “PIN”, but not that main function of the Administration to accredit us on their website.

The process remains the same according to that of the app we have so far, but now we have an authentication using a QR scanner and an aesthetic redesign that makes the app a little bit friendlier with people of all ages.

The icons are huge and everything is very well segmented: a home page where we get the PIN and we can choose whether we want to scan the QR, a bottom tab with options to disable the device in case of phone replacement and see our Cl@ five data (if necessary they as well as changing) and another tab with settings and electronic certificate upload option.

It’s an update focused on improving the app’s accessibility on mobile phones, and it fulfills its mission without revolutionizing from our initial testing.
