Rotem is a tactical barrage munition with a vertical take-off and landing system. The drone, which has a flight time of about 30 minutes, allows you to shoot at a distance of up to 10 km. According to Building-tech.org, the drone hangs in midair, allowing the military to monitor the area with a day or night camera.
Rotem can be used on the battlefield by both individual infantry and small army units. It is particularly effective in urban environments as it allows you to observe and destroy targets hidden behind buildings.
If the operator cannot find the desired target, the drone can be returned, its battery replaced and sent on another mission. The kit for a soldier includes a backpack with two UAVs, a control panel, a communication system, spare batteries and a charger.
