Buying a small PC is quite an adventure, but thanks to the evolution that the sector has undergone in recent years, today it is possible to find very interesting options with very strict value in the price-performance ratio.
The T9 Plus Mini is one of the most interesting devices to hit the market recently as it has a very compact size that fits in the palm of your hand and offers a range of specifications really good for the price it has.
As is usually the case with this type of device, there are several different configurations with different prices. The base model of this mini PC comes with 8GB LPDDR5 and no storage unit and is priced at u €134.15. The version with 16 GB LPDDR5 and 512 GB SATA type SSD comes at a price €179.42and costs a model with 1 TB PCIe SSD and 16 GB LPDDR5 207.86 euros.
These are very cheap prices and the best part is that despite its small size, this is a mini PC can perform really well in many applications thanks to the Intel Alder Lake N100 processor, a quad-core, quad-thread chip at a maximum of 3.4 GHz based on the Gracemont architecture, as well as the high-performance Core Gen12 and Core Gen13 processor cores. Its IPC is roughly at Skylake level.
We were able to do a lot of things with the 16GB LPDDR5 model, and we’re going to enjoy it really good fluency in multitasking, web browsing and office automation. Windows 11 can be transferred without any problem, in fact this operating system is pre-installed if we choose the variant with SSD included in the price, which rounds out the value offered by this mini PC even more.
The Intel Alder Lake N100 includes a Integrated Intel UHD GPU with 24 execution units which reaches a frequency of 750 MHz and is supported by LPDDR5 system memory that operates at a frequency of 4,800 MHz. Despite its small size, this device has a relatively wide range of connectors, as it has two HDMI 2.0 outputs, two gigabit Ethernet ports, three USB connectors 3.1 Type-A, has a 3.5 mm jack for audio and also has a wireless network card that supports Wi-Fi 5 and Bluetooth 4.2.
To keep heat from being a problem, this device uses a a copper heatsink and a small fan. Since the TDP of the Intel Alder Lake N100 is only 6 watts, the temperatures should always be optimal.
