According to the news of Anadolu, Turkish-made ANKA unmanned aerial vehicles will be produced in Kazakhstan, according to the drone developer of the Turkish aviation and space company Turkish Aerospace Industries (TUSAŞ).
The company reminded that last year, a contract was signed with the Kazakh side for the supply of ANKA unmanned aerial vehicles to the Central Asian republic.
Recently, during the Kazakh delegation’s visit to Ankara, a new cooperation agreement was signed between TAI and Kazakhstan Engineering on the joint production of ANKA unmanned aerial vehicles in Kazakhstan.
UAV maintenance and repair will be carried out in Kazakhstan at a joint Kazakh-Turkish operation.
Thus, Kazakhstan became the first foreign country to produce ANKA unmanned aerial vehicles. Such drones are currently in service in Turkey, Tunisia and Kazakhstan.
TAI CEO Temel Kotyl expressed his pride in the increasing interest of foreign partners in ANKA unmanned aerial vehicles. “The new agreement will further strengthen friendly ties with brotherly Kazakhstan,” Kotyl said. Said.
ANKA range – up to 250 km, the drone can stay in the air for 30 hours, take-off weight 1.7 tons, can carry cargo up to 350 kg.
