Microsoft denies Anonymous Sudan’s data leak claim

Microsoft has denied allegations that a hacking syndicate breached its database and accessed user data. The Anonymous Sudanese hacking community has claimed to have large amounts of Microsoft user data for sale. The group announced that it had successfully hacked Microsoft, gaining access to more than 30 million Microsoft accounts, emails and passwords.

Sudan Anonymous put a $50,000 price tag on Microsoft’s supposed data treasury. They also provided a small portion of the database (about 100 email and password combinations) as proof of their claims. But while the hacker collective’s claim is difficult to verify, Microsoft denies the data leak allegations. The company says there are no signs that its database has been compromised, and its customers shouldn’t worry. Anonymous said his preliminary analysis of Sudan’s data showed that his claims were not legitimate. He says he has seen no evidence that his customers’ data has been compromised or compromised.

Anonymous Sudan has carried out several successful attacks on the road to disruption. The group, which recently disrupted the Scandinavian Airlines website and disabled the Microsoft 365 software suite, is suspected of being a pro-Kremlin project to spread the Russian agenda. The fact that Anonymous Sudan previously impacted the Microsoft 365 software suite, including Outlook and Teams, is a cause for concern for Microsoft. Whether or not a breach is discovered, Microsoft remains the target of hackers.
