With the help of smart glasses, motorcyclists will be able to view data such as navigation, speed and gear in real time directly on the lens of the accessory.
The glasses connect to the driver’s smartphone via Bluetooth and an app. Using the remote on the handlebar of the motorcycle, you can select the location and settings of the projection before or during the ride.
The design of the new motorcycle goggles allows you to adapt them to various helmet and face shapes, and thanks to the lithium-ion battery, the device can operate autonomously for up to 10 hours.
BMW Motorrad supplies two sets of lenses with the frame. The first set is 85% transparent and can be used for helmets with integrated sun visors. Another set includes tinted lenses that give the glasses a sunscreen effect.
ConnectedRide Smart Glasses also come with a case and a USB charging cable.
