That changed thanks to a supposed leak that left us with both a release date and new interesting details. Intel Raptor Lake Refresh is expected to arrive between October 17 and 23 this yearand according to new information, it looks like there will be some important changes for certain models.

One of the most interesting models in this sense would be the Intel Core i7-14700K, which would have a configuration 8 high-performance Raptor Cove cores and 12 high-performance Gracemont cores. This means that it will have four more high-performance cores than the Intel Core i7-13700K, which, as many of our readers remember, comes in a configuration of 8 high-performance cores and 8 high-efficiency cores.

This change would leave the door open possible Intel Core i5-14600K with a configuration of 8 high-performance cores and 8 high-efficiency cores.and, although it is not confirmed, so you should take it with a grain of salt, since it is only a possibility (although it makes sense to see the Intel Core i7-14700K change).

It is also said that they will have faster DDR5 memory support and that said support will start from 6400 MHz configurations.

The first benchmark of the Intel Core i7-14700K has also been leaked, allowing us to unofficially confirm this configuration of 8 P cores and 12 E cores. This CPU will have a total of 20 cores and 28 threads.
