A Huawei announced that it is expanding its line of wearable devices with new headphones. FreeBuds SE 2. The new model was initially only introduced for the Chinese market – a global launch is likely to take place soon – and has interesting specifications with an autonomy of up to 40 hours away from the outlet.

Through an issue sent to Chinese portals, the manufacturer reported that its new model has a high playback quality with 10 dynamic drivers mm and Bluetooth 5.3which supports the latest codecs.

ABOUT Huawei FreeBuds SE 2 features a half-ear design designed for greater wearing comfort and better ear canal identification. Unfortunately, the device does not have Active Noise Cancellation (ANC), but it does call noise reduction (ENK) to improve the quality of the microphone during a call.

One of the highlights of the device is its autonomy, while the manufacturer claims that the model has an autonomy of up to 9 hours of playback with up to 40 hours of battery life with small case charges. The device supports fast charging: just 10 minutes of charging provides up to 3 hours of playback.

For use during physical activity, the device has IP54 certification dust and splash proof. The body of the device supports touch and gesture control, and offers connectivity features such as pairing with Huawei smartphones.

The device will officially go on sale in the Asian country on July 19, the manufacturer may announce the launch of the model in other international markets in the coming months.
