Last Friday (7) at a conference held by the United Nations (United Nations), humanoid robots controlled by AI (artificial intelligence) claimed that one day they could rule the world more effectively than humans. AI research is constantly evolving, which has led the UN to demand the creation of standards and safeguards to ensure that these technologies are used responsibly for the benefit of humanity while avoiding unnecessary risks.

Doreen Bogdan Martin, Secretary General of the ITU, warned of the possibility of a nightmare if AI is poorly implemented. She described a scenario in which millions of jobs are at risk and the world is riddled with disinformation, causing social unrest, geopolitical instability and unprecedented economic inequality. However, the humanoid robot Ameca reassured those present at the press conference, emphasizing that everything depends on how artificial intelligence will be used.
