While the iPhone 15 has not been officially unveiled, Apple is taking the opportunity to continue touting the qualities of the iPhone 14 lineup. This Monday (10), the Cupertino-based company released a curious commercial that notes the battery life of the iPhone 14. Titled Battery for Miles, the commercial uses a tractor, a giant pumpkin, and an elderly man to show how good the iPhone 14’s battery is.
The one-minute commercial is humorous and shows an elderly man driving a truck with a giant pumpkin. He uses Apple Maps to navigate, with Ludacris’ “Two Mile” music playing in the background. The idea of advertising is simple: to show that even on an endless road in a slow vehicle, the battery of the iPhone 14 will be able to take you to your destination. The iPhone 15 should be officially announced soon, bringing new features and news to the company’s devices. Until then, the iPhone 14 lineup remains Apple’s latest smartphones. Now, if the rumors are true, the iPhone 15 lineup’s battery could be up to 20% higher than the iPhone 14 family’s, which is a very important addition but has yet to be confirmed.
If the rumors are true and the battery of the iPhone 15 is indeed far superior to the 14th line models, Apple will need to prepare new advertising for its smartphones. Perhaps the company will decide to innovate even more and replace the tractor with a wheelbarrow or something similar. Jokes aside, the official announcement of the iPhone 15 is due in the coming months, bringing Apple’s biggest news to the smartphone lineup.
