ABOUT R1 will fulfill control of 12 cameras, of five sensors and six microphones device, and will also need to perform user head tracking, eye tracking, 3D environment mapping, and hand control tracking.

Since most of these tasks require instant processing, Apple will equip the new SoC Vision Pro with new custom module AMD from SC Hynix. This new feature is designed to be ultra-low latency and faster than conventional DRAM modules and can even double the processing speed.
