Russia’s state-owned company Roscosmos is increasing payments through Gazprombank.
This was reported on Facebook by the Defense Ministry’s Main Intelligence Directorate, Ukrinform reported.
“The Russian state company Roscosmos is increasing payments through Gazprombank. To date, this Russian state bank has suffered little from international sanctions. Some restrictions on this were announced only on May 8, but they will apply personally to the heads of institutions. Therefore, Roscosmos and other Russian monopolies will use its “immunity” to increase the volume of international payments – it said in a statement.
In particular, to reduce the impact of international sanctions, Roscosmos sent a document “On the organization of settlements under sanctions” to the infrastructure.
It provides for the following measures: restriction of settlements in foreign currency and the transfer of settlements under concluded contracts in rubles; minimizing foreign exchange in the accounts of sanctioned banks; opening of accounts in subsidiaries of foreign banks or Russian institutions that do not fall under the sanctions regarding the execution of instructions on the procedure for depositing free funds of Roscosmos Corporation.
On February 24, the Russian Federation launched a new phase of the war against Ukraine – a full-blown invasion in which Russian invaders bombarded and bombarded peaceful towns and villages in Ukraine, torturing and killing civilians.
The United States, European Union, United Kingdom, Japan and other countries have imposed and continue to impose sanctions on Russia.
