The new HONOR 90 and HONOR Magic5 Pro incorporate technologies and innovations focused on vision care which represent an important difference and which we will share with you in this article.
before anything what is blue light We can define it as the fraction of visible light emitted by screens. On average, our eye can detect wavelengths from 390 to 750 nm, and blue light is located between 380 nm and 475 nm, i.e. at the lower end of these wavelengths. Infrared rays, on the other hand, occupy the longest wavelengths. On average, we can say that about 25% of visible white light is blue.
Good, And why does blue light have harmful effects? HONOR collaborated with Dr. Glen Jeffery, Professor of Neuroscience at the Institute of Ophthalmology, University College London (UCL) School of Brain Sciences, to investigate the real benefits of Eye-Comfort technology. Through this collaboration, the company has managed to create a set of unique HONOR eye comfort features that can truly alleviate the global problem digital eye strain.
Two of these technologies are intelligent dynamic dimming HONORS a circadian night display, which perform color temperature adjustments and work perfectly on the HONOR Magic5 Pro and the new HONOR 90 smartphones.
Screens are made of a mixture of blue, green and red light, which our eye perceives as a combination that creates the appearance of white light or produces other colors. In the attached chart, we can see the normal balance of these colors, shown in blue, for most phones. Technological change is necessary and this is one of the things HONOR does best.”
