Alphabet Inc., which runs Google, has launched the Bard chatbot for users in Ukraine, the European Union, and Brazil. The AI tool will be able to generate responses in more than 40 languages, including Chinese, Spanish and Hindi.

The European Union region was one of the last regions in the world to gain access to the Bard. Alphabet Inc. said the launch delay was due to uncertainty over whether its AI tool would comply with the EU’s General Data Protection Regulation.
The US tech giant had “very productive” talks with European privacy regulators, according to Jack Krawczyk, Google’s senior product director.
He added that Google will provide users with clear notifications about the use and storage of their data, and allow company employees to review conversations created by Bard to improve the chatbot. These options will be available not only in the EU, but also in nearly 180 other countries where Bard operates.
The company also announced that features such as listening to voice responses, uploading an image with clues, and analyzing a photo with its artificial intelligence tool that will work in some regions.
Deputy Prime Minister for Innovation, Education, Science and Technology Development – Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov wrote on his Telegram channel that Bard is also available in Ukraine.
As reported by Ukrinform, on February 6 this year, Google Corporation launched Bard chatbot, a new artificial intelligence (AI) service.
The adults-only version of Bard originally appeared in the US and UK.
