Google has been given the green light to launch Bard in the European Union, but regulators aren’t relaxing their control over the AI assistant just yet.
As of this morning, Google’s ChatGPT competitor is available in the European Union. The launch was delayed because the Irish data protection authority DPA had set conditions that Bard had to meet. Google has reassured the authorities enough that we can meet Bard. “I think it’s great that I’m now also available in Belgium,” said the chatbot in an exclusive interview with our editors.
