Google has been given the green light to launch Bard in the European Union, but regulators aren’t relaxing their control over the AI ​​assistant just yet.

As of this morning, Google’s ChatGPT competitor is available in the European Union. The launch was delayed because the Irish data protection authority DPA had set conditions that Bard had to meet. In order to launch Bard, Google had to sign an agreement with DPA. For example, the tech giant has opened a Privacy Hub where you can find more information about what data may be collected during your conversations with Bard.
