The Redmond giant has confirmed that it is being worked on a new troubleshooting tool focused on TPM which will basically be integrated into the Windows Security application of Windows 11. You can see how it will work and how it will design in the two attached images that you will find right below these lines, and you can enlarge them with a simple click.

The first image shows that through this troubleshooter we can “clean” the TPM which it will reset said chip and return to factory state. This measure is a bit radical, but at the same time it turns out to be one of the most effective solutions we can use. We can also use some kind of analysis that will look for vulnerabilities and problems in our TPM chip.

In general, this new tool will offer us possible solutions to specific problemsand it will enable us to apply some of them directly and simply, which is undoubtedly appreciated. It’s clear that if Microsoft had to get to this point, it’s because things aren’t going as well as they should be with TPM chips in Windows 11, and because the cases of users having problems are significant.

Microsoft has advocated the introduction of the TPM chip as a basic requirement in Windows 11 based on the value it offers in terms of security, and yes, that is true, but it is also true that said solution far from perfectand that there are many ways to overcome this layer of security by exploiting flaws and vulnerabilities in certain components, including Windows Defender itself.

In any case, the Redmond giant has fully embraced the TPM solution, and recently David Weston, vice president of enterprise security and operating system at Microsoft, made it clear that will continue to bet on security at the hardware and software level, and that it will improve many of the most important deficiencies that exist today at both levels.

We still don’t have a specific release date for this new TPM chip troubleshooter, although I can confirm that already reached the Windows Insider Canary channel, which means it will still be a while before it hits the general channel, since it’s the first and the one that prioritizes news over stability. After it would come the beta channel and finally the preview channel.
