This was reported by the Ukrainian Ministry of Economy in a Telegram, Ukrinform reported.

“Our task is to protect and support the IT sector as one of the most dynamic and promising sectors, which will be of great importance after our victory in the rebuilding of Ukraine. Therefore, the Ministry of Economy will help solve the problems,” the statement said.

In particular, the First Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Economy of Ukraine Yulia Svyridenko promised that IT specialists of special value to enterprises will consider the issue of reservation.

He emphasized this at a meeting with representatives of the Informatics Association of Ukraine, where government officials emphasized that the state is interested, among other things, in the further development of the IT sector, which has a huge export potential.

Other topics discussed included the provision of temporary travel abroad opportunities for specialists engaged in foreign economic activity and the preservation of resident taxpayer status for Ukrainian citizens under temporary protection in the EU.

As reported, in the first quarter of 2022, the IT industry brought in record export revenues of $2 billion. 96% of IT services exports were preserved in March compared to March 2021.
