Twitter has announced that it is launching a new program to share ad revenue with select writers. program called Creative Advertising Revenue Sharing It will allow creators to get a share of the revenue from ads that appear in replies to their tweets.
To qualify for the program, authors must have at least 10,000 followers and have the “Monetize Tweets” option enabled in their account settings. When they’re eligible, they’ll automatically start getting a share of ad revenue from replies to their tweets.
The program is currently in beta and only available to a limited number of authors. The amount of revenue creators receive will depend on several factors, including the number of impressions and engagement their tweets receive.

The program is also a way for Twitter to compete with other social media platforms like YouTube and TikTok, which already have similar monetization programs.
Earlier, Elon Musk announced that the company would start sharing its advertising revenues with creators. Despite all this, Twitter shows almost no ads on its service. For example, GroupM, the world’s largest advertising company, previously told its clients that buying ads on the platform was high risk, but later reversed this when Linda Jaccarino agreed.
