Prime Minister of Israel Benjamin Netanyahuwas admitted to the hospital this Saturday in an emergency but is in “good condition,” his office said.

“Netanyahu recently arrived at the Sheba Medical Center. He is in good condition and you are undergoing a medical examination“, the Prime Minister’s Office said in a statement, without giving further details.

Sheba Medical Center is the largest hospital in Israel, located in Ramat Gan, near Tel Aviv.

The 73-year-old prime minister was transferred to this hospital from his home in Caesarea after warning his relatives that he was not feeling well and that had chest painIsraeli media reports.

This was announced by his personal doctor Zvi Berkowitz. channel 12 that the state of the prime minister was “good and stable”.

The Prime Minister reportedly passed out at home, hitting his head in a fall, but arrived at the hospital fully conscious and unaided walking, Israeli media reported, citing medical sources.

Apparently his son Avner Netanyahu is in the hospital and his wife Sarah Netanyahu are on their way.

In October, Netanyahu was hospitalized at the Shaare Zedek Medical Center in Jerusalem. after feeling unwell during prayer in the synagogue. He was released the next morning after undergoing tests and spending the night under observation.
