Authorities in Nassau County, northeast of Florida, said the minor died following his 17-year-old mother. slipped fentanyl into her milk bottle.

He explained that authorities responded to an emergency call last Monday at a house in the Callahan area. The report indicated that the child was not breathing. and he had no pulse, so the agents tried to revive him.
The boy was taken to a Jacksonville hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
“Initially, the mother said she didn’t know what had happened. put the baby to sleep and I just couldn’t wake him upLeeper said.
The police report indicated that the woman repeatedly changed her story. She eventually admitted that she was “tired and wanted to take a nap”, so she filled up a baby bottle and added some of “what she thought it was cocaine” in a bottle.
However, substance analysis confirmed it was fentanyl.
“It’s beyond my imagination Why did a mother do this to her child?. Most children are born to loving parents who take care of all their needs, but unfortunately, some children are born to people who don’t have to be parents,” Leeper said.
