A new iMac with the M3 chip could be shared with the world as early as October.
According to Apple specialist Mark Gurman, who often knows, there’s a reasonable chance the company will launch a new iMac with its own M3 chip in October.
Ready to go
Gurman made the prediction in his latest Apple newsletter for media outlet Bloomberg. Along with this new version, Apple will also launch the 13-inch MacBook Air and the 13-inch MacBook Pro with an M3 in the foreseeable future. To make Apple fans mouth-watering, Gurman also sees the new M3 iPad Pro with OLED screen next year.
iMac in the news
It’s not the first time Gurman has reported on a new iMac. As early as March, in an earlier newsletter, he mentioned the possibility of a publication in the second half of the year.
The last iMac launch was more than two years ago. Gurman has not (yet) commented on whether the predicted M3 version will also be available in all the eye-catching colors.
