Microsoft now allows two video streams to be shared during a video meeting in Teams. Is that supposed to offer more options, especially for presentations?

Don’t know which side is your most beautiful side? No problem, a new feature in Teams lets you view your face from two perspectives. Because if you start working with the preview of teams, you can now share two video streams. The main goal is not vanity, but more flexibility in the presentation.

The feature is called Teams Content Camera and it allows you to share images with a second camera while staying behind the first camera. This is useful for scenarios where the presenter needs to demo a device, for example. The second camera can zoom in on the device while the main camera keeps an eye on the presenter.

Work

Of course, you need at least two connected cameras to get started with Teams Content Camera. Once in the picture, navigate to share content And content from the camera. Choose there Video. In the dialog box that appears, you must specify a camera other than the camera you are currently using to take the picture. you click share, then the feed is visible to the other participants in the call. You can compare the feature to an alternative to a shared presentation or screen.

The feature is available now for teams in public preview. It is up to the admins to provide preview functionality to the users.
