American Monica de Leon Beardabducted last year in Jalisco was released and came home to California this weekend, reported the US Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), without providing details of the publication.

De Leon Barba was abducted on November 29, 2022. on her way home with her dog in Tepatitlán, Jalisco, according to information provided by the FBI, who offered a $40,000 reward for information that would help find her.

The 29 year old victim was released July 14, according to the FBI.

De Leon lived for many years in San Mateo County on the San Francisco Bay. moved to Mexico last summer for work.

The FBI believes that at least five suspects involved in the kidnapping but so far no one has been arrested for this fact.

Born in Mexico and a naturalized U.S. citizen, Lopez resides seasonally in Los Angeles and Riverside County, where she has family, as well as in Colima.

Lopez’s children repeatedly called the community to help them find their mother’s whereabouts.
