According to the company, the updated Trailblazer is equipped with a 1.35-liter E-Turbo petrol engine.
The car is available in two configurations with an efficient VT40 continuously variable transmission and a nine-speed Hydramatic automatic transmission.
Trailblazer will be sold at a starting price of 27 million won (US$21,000), with prices reaching up to 31 million won depending on optional extras.
The Trailblazer is said to share the same platform as the Buick Encore GX small SUV. The Buick brand is part of the Detroit automaker General Motors.
“Reliability is the foundation of SUVs. These vehicles must be designed for demanding conditions such as off-road, heavy-duty hauling, long journeys and sometimes hundreds of miles without maintenance. Creating a reliable vehicle that customers can feel confident driving in such conditions is essential,” said Roberto Rampel, President and CEO of GM Korea.
