Microsoft announced this Tuesday (18) that Teams users will have access to Copilot, Microsoft’s artificial intelligence to be used during calls and chat. According to the company, the feature will be integrated into Microsoft 365 Copilot for an additional $30/month. on top of the $36 Microsoft 365 Business subscription price.



This feature is currently in testing phase. the company has not confirmed the official launch date for Microsoft 365 Copilot. Those who choose this feature will be able to trigger it in Teams calls and chat. Copilot can automatically generate summaries, dates, names, and tags during calls. For those who run large meetings or work in the marketing and sales segment, this is a very important resource.

Copilot will be integrated into Teams

According to Microsoft, soon no one will want to join a meeting without using Copilot. “While the customer is talking, Copilot wraps up the call and captures their relevant questions about product features, benefits, and pricing.“, – commented in the company. In addition, AI can collect customer feedback and suggest next steps. You will be able to use this information when writing a follow-up email with content and information about support to resolve issues raised during the call.



In Teams chat, AI will be able to extract key points of the conversation, such as chat threads. This makes it easier for users in groups with more people to follow up on conversations they missed, the company says. Copilot is currently available in Early Access for approximately 600 users. The company has confirmed that this feature costs $30 per month per user on top of Microsoft 365 Business, which costs $36. As of now, there is no confirmation of when this feature will be released worldwide.
