Fortinet is launching two new models as part of its line of firewalls supporting FortiGuard AI services.

The FortiGate 3200F is purpose-built for hyperscale data centers. According to the manufacturer, the firewall offers four times faster throughput, 4.7 times faster SSL inspection and 3.5 times faster throughput for IPSec VPN traffic. The FortiGate 3200F consumes 72 percent less power than alternative solutions and offers 400GE interfaces for seamless traffic management and high-volume scalability.

At the same time, Fortinet is launching a compact, high-performance firewall with the FortiGate 900G. Again, the manufacturer points to the competition and according to them, this solution delivers 6x faster firewall performance, 5x faster IPSec VPN performance and 3x faster protection against cyber threats with a throughput of 20 Gbps.

Both firewalls use the FortiOS operating system and are centrally managed via FortiManager. Fortinet emphasizes that both solutions are ideal for building one Hybrid Mesh FirewallArchitecture that coordinates policies across all firewalls to ensure enterprise-wide protection.
