The Oppo Reno10 Pro 5G and Reno10 5G are coming to Belgium. Both phones are good mid-range phones with an emphasis on balanced specs and photography.
Oppo launches the Reno10 Pro 5G and the Reno10 in our country. The regular Reno10 is a mid-range phone with a price of 509 euros (incl. VAT), the Reno10 Pro moves with a price of 659 euros (incl. VAT) on the border of the high-end segment. Both devices will be available in stores from Monday.
flagship
The launch of Reno10 is an important moment for Oppo in our country. The phenomenal Find X5 Pro is currently not getting a successor outside of China and the foldable Find N2 Flip is not available in Belgium. This makes the Reno10 Pro 5G the de facto flagship of the manufacturer. It persists in Europe despite patent disputes with Nokia, which led to a (temporary?) departure from Germany.
However, Oppo has ambitions to stay and consolidate its position as the fourth brand in Europe. “We want to stay here,” says Thom Knepper, the product expert on duty at the smartphone presentation. “We have made a commitment and want to keep it.”
specifications
The Reno10 series has to take care of that. In contrast to the Find series, Reno is not supposed to impress with technical data. Oppo instead focuses on design and more specifically on video and photography. Although there is no Marisilicon chip inside, the manufacturer equips both devices with cameras that should convince in their price range. Other specifications are therefore not dazzling.

Different cameras
As you can see, both devices are very different inside, despite the almost identical appearance and similar name. The Reno10 Pro is the best-equipped device of the two. Don’t be fooled by the main camera: the 50MP sensor is higher quality than the 64MP sensor in the Reno10.
However, the star of the device has to be the 32MP 2X telephoto lens. Oppo notes the 47mm focal length, which is ideal for framing faces and capturing photos that best reflect how the human eye perceives an environment. That seems to be true in our experience and it’s nice that Oppo is paying close attention to this camera.
Load and be loaded
It comes with a charger that supports fast charging. Oppo relies on its own SuperVooc technology. SuperVooc has its own magic that makes it impossible to charge an Oppo phone with any other 80-watt charger. The included charger itself is USB Power Delivery compatible, according to Knepper, so you can use it to charge your laptop too.
The device does not have wireless charging on board. “But that’s not really necessary if you can fully charge the smartphone in less than thirty minutes,” says Knepper.
The two phones have the same IPx4 rating. This is very modest, especially for the Reno10 Pro. In other words: Oppo guarantees protection against splashing water, but nothing more. In addition, the manufacturer is silent on dust or sand protection.
Update
Oppp also says that both smartphones will launch with ColorOS 13.1 based on Android 13. Each device receives two system updates from launch and security updates for three years. The two smartphones are only available in gray in Belgium.
