According to the project, the wind farm will be able to generate more than 66 million kilowatt-hours of clean electricity per year, enough to fully meet the annual electricity needs of 36,000 households with three people.

The specified wind generation capacity will save about 22,000 tons of standard coal required to generate the same amount of electricity, and will also reduce carbon dioxide emissions by about 54,000 tons.

According to the Chinese side, by the end of 2022, the total capacity of wind farms in the world has reached 57.6 gigawatts, of which 53% is China. At the same time, China produces almost 60% of the world’s wind energy equipment, which is exported to 49 countries and regions of the world.

As Ukrinform reported, the country’s largest solar power plant, capable of generating 1 gigawatt of electricity and fully meeting the needs of 1.5 million households, has been connected to the national electricity grid in China.
