It’s not a week without us to see the GeForce NOW catalog grow. GFN Thursdays have already become a tradition on NVIDIAand the day the user community checks for titles that become compatible, so we can enjoy them even if our PC doesn’t meet its technical specifications or still reaches the point where it offers a performance graph provided by the service.

As you may already know, GeForce NOW is a cloud gaming service offered by NVIDIA, but unlike other options in this sense, it does not offer its own store, but integrates major digital game stores. Users can enjoy their own collection of games purchased on Steam, Epic Games, GOG, etc. Users can enjoy all the benefits that each of these stores offer, but they also have the opportunity to play in the cloud whenever they want.

GeForce NOW offers three types of accounts: free, priority and RTX 3080. The first, though more limited, allows you to use the service without having to pay anything. It doesn’t offer all the graphics capabilities of the higher ones, the length of each game session is limited to two hours, and you may have to wait a few minutes before you can start playing. However, this is the best option for the first contact with the service, and so that you can personally check the speed of the service, which still surprises me.

Below are the priority accounts which will allow you to squeeze the graphics options of the games much better. At this level of GeForce NOW, the most intense game modes are already enabled, so you can use ray tracing, DLSS and more. With a priority account, the start of the game sessions is instantaneous and the maximum duration of each game session can be extended up to six hours.

We finally meet top service offering, GeForce NOW RTX 3080, a service that we have already tested at MuyComputer and which, after commissioning, is as impressive as its name suggests. In addition, it allows you to play with 4K resolution from your client for Windows and macOS for a week. And of course, this is a level designed for the most demanding players who are able to spend more hours sitting at a computer, so the maximum duration of each game session can be extended up to eight hours.
