The service will be available to existing office subscribers on Microsoft 365 E3, E5, Business Standard, and Business Premium plans, but will be billed separately from the AI ​​base subscription. The price is $30 per month for one employee.

This is a significant addition to the cost of existing Microsoft 365 plans:

• The company charges businesses $36 per user per month for Microsoft 365 E3, which includes access to Office, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, and many other productivity features. The additional $30 fee for access to Copilot will nearly double the cost for companies that subscribe to E3 and want these AI-enabled features.
• For Microsoft 365 Business Standard, considering the cost is $12.50 per user per month, that’s almost three times as much.

There is no mention of Copilot’s exact launch date. Microsoft first announced this tool in March 2023 and is currently being tested by a limited number of customers.
