Amazon One Palm payment technology will be available in more than 500 Whole Foods stores in the US by the end of 2023. The payment system works through a reader that reads the user’s palm. Once the card is registered, users can enjoy Prime benefits and make payments by simply placing their palm on the reader.

At the beginning of the year, other stores also began to implement the system created by the Jeff Bezos company. However, a recent announcement shows that Amazon will be investing heavily in distributing the technology through its stores in the United States. According to Amazon, those who choose One Palm will no longer need a wallet or smartphone to make payments, just swipe their palm over any Amazon One totem. Since introducing Amazon One to Whole Foods Market stores over the past two years, we’ve seen shoppers love the convenience it offers, and we’re excited to bring Amazon One to all of our US shoppers.“.

According to Amazon, One Palm payment is already working in about 200 Whole Foods stores. By the end of 2023, the company will migrate the payment system to the rest of the Whole Foods network in the US, which has more than 500 stores.
