Closer to the official launch of the Galaxy Z Flip 5, Samsung sees the device as one of the latest generation foldable devices to hit the market as one of the mainstream devices in the market. Recent teasers shared on social media have shown new product details, such as the presence of a gap-free hinge, different from previous models.

Earlier this year, rumors circulated that Samsung would adopt a gap-free hinge that is already featured in foldable smartphones from Chinese brands. Despite some recent speculation that the Galaxy Z Flip 5 and Galaxy Z Fold 5 will still have a slight gap when folded, a teaser from Samsung debunks those claims.

The video shows that the Galaxy Z Flip 5 folds completely, leaving no visible space near the hinge. Not only does this improve the appearance of the device, but it also makes it more resistant to dust and debris that can damage that particular spot on Samsung’s new foldable device.

Leaks have already revealed technical details about the device

In addition to bringing the device to market smoothly, Samsung has also made other notable changes with the Galaxy Z Flip 5. The device is expected to come with a 3.4-inch screen, allowing users to use more detailed widgets, widgets, and a full on-screen keyboard to reply to messages.

The rumors also point to some details regarding the technical specifications of the device, such as a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, 8GB of RAM, 128GB or 256GB of storage options, and a 3700mAh battery with 25W fast charging.

However, this was not the only information presented so far. This is because the device is speculated to have a 12-megapixel main camera with optical image stabilization (OIS), a 12-megapixel ultra-wide camera, a 10-megapixel selfie camera. Finally, it will be equipped with stereo speakers and IPX7 water resistance.
