Israel: Benjamin Netanyahu Gets a Pacemaker Implanted

Prime Minister of Israel Benjamin Netanyahu, underwent surgery early Sunday morning, in which he was successfully implanted with a pacemaker, His office said in a statement that it guarantees the president is in good condition and can be discharged within a day.

“The medical procedure that the Prime Minister underwent completed successfully. The Prime Minister is doing well and will remain at Sheba Hospital for observation and is expected to be released later in the day.

The 73-year-old president was discharged exactly a week ago after emergency hospitalization.

The Israeli media claimed that he passed out after feeling pain in his chest, but according to the official version, he suffered from dehydration.
