The launch was carried out at 10:50 Beijing time from the Taiyuan Cosmodrome in Shanxi Province.
It was stated that three satellites will be used for remote sensing, observational data and commercial remote sensing services, while the other satellite will be used to test satellite communication technologies.
This flight was already the 479th for the Changzheng series launch vehicles.
As Ukrinform previously reported, the Kuizhou-1A solid-fuel carrier rocket in China launched into space four satellites of the new Tianmu-1 meteorological group being created in Earth orbit.
As reported by Ukrinform, construction of a new, third launch complex has begun in the city of Wenchang, in southern China’s Hainan province, where the country’s first spaceport for commercial space launches has been built.
