Last year, Apple introduced the satellite connectivity feature in the iPhone 14 series, a breakthrough feature for smartphones as it allows device users to send emergency alerts in remote locations without cellular coverage or Wi-Fi without any special equipment. Alongside Apple, Huawei has added satellite link support on its Mate 50 and P60 series smartphones. The feature is now expected to come to Android phones as well.
