Popular streaming service Spotify is raising the price of its premium subscription, which allows users to listen to music without ads in more than 50 countries around the world, not in Ukraine.
As reported by Ukrinform, this is stated in the company’s press release.
“The market environment has continued to evolve since our launch. We are changing our premium prices in many markets around the world to keep on innovating. These updates will help us continue to deliver value to our platform for fans and artists. Starting today, existing subscribers in these markets will receive emails explaining what this means for their account,” Spotify said.
In general, the company will increase prices in more than 50 countries of the world, but Ukraine is not on the list of countries that will be affected by the changes.
Spotify also noted that they have over 200 million premium subscribers since the service launched in 2008.
As reported by Ukrinform, the popular streaming service Spotify introduced a new feature for artists called Clips.
