The other day there was a presentation of Google I/O 2022, where the company introduced a number of new products. One of the most notable gadgets was augmented reality glasses. What can they do?

In case you forgot, the American technology giant introduced Google Glass smart glasses in the past. However, this product was not commercially available. Now the company seems to be working on a successor to Google Glass.

A brief teaser of the device made it clear that the glasses have real-time language translation functionality. It will be supported by artificial intelligence (AI) algorithms. The teaser showed how a person stands in front of the glasses wearer and speaks a foreign language, currently there is a translated version of the wearer in AR format on the glasses.

Unfortunately, so far this device is at an early stage of prototype and is currently being tested.
