The Armed Forces of Ukraine began to take up armsWalk the Polish assault rifles in the GROT. Ukrainian fighters released a video showing the new weapons. “This is really cool. Super light. Super comfortable”, – warrior commented.

GROT C16 FB-M1 – Assault rifle caliber 5.56 mm, manufactured by the Polish company Fabryka Broni “Łucznik”. The rifle has a modular structure.

Tactical and technical features:

• Cartridge: 5.56x45mm NATO
• Weight without tank: classic version – 3.65 kg, bullpup version – 3.75 kg.
• Length: classic version – 900/843 mm, bullpup version – 675 mm.
• Barrel length: 406 mm.
• Initial velocity of the bullet: 890 m / s.
• Firing range: 500 m.
• Rate of fire: 700-900 rounds / min.
• Magazine capacity: 30 or 60 rounds.

In 2017, GROT tests were completed and an agreement was signed for the supply of 40,000 submachine guns for the needs of Poland’s territorial defense. Source
