Reserve Captain 1st Degree Andrii Ryzhenka believes that the Russian aggressor continued to gather strength to launch missile attacks on the energy complex during the winter period.

Navy drones have to travel a long distance to their target, which takes more than 12 hours if the enemy ship is very far away, for example 600 kilometers. During this time, the ship can change its position and even hide in its base.

Special maneuvers with a kamikaze boat will also not work – the invaders carefully monitor the sea with the help of guards. And although the sensor guidance systems of naval drones work well, the enemy’s EW systems that are always on can disrupt the operator’s communication signal with the kamikaze boat.

The expert believes that duplicated footage can help improve the situation. For example, according to Ryzhenko, it is possible to equip naval drones with missile launchers and launch anti-ship missiles at a distance of 60 kilometers from the target, which will increase the chances of hitting the ship. Missiles are a harder target than an unmanned boat. The captain is sure that it is not so difficult to equip warships with similar missile systems.
