With fully integrated Windows 365 support, you can use the Motorola Thinkphone as a Windows laptop. All you need is a screen.

The Motorola Thinkphone can now run Windows 365, the cloud version of the operating system. The device thus turns out to be a portable laptop that fits in your pocket. With a simple USB-C cable, you can stream the Microsoft 365 applications to a larger screen. A laptop does not have to be in the game at all.

The integration of Windows 365 underlines the business DNA of the Thinkphone. The device must combine the best that the parent companies Lenovo and Motorola have to offer in one device. The focus is therefore mainly on productivity and business applications.

The Ready For platform creates synergies between the Thinkphone and the laptop. With Windows 365, you can leave your laptop at home. Motorola wants to enable these IT departments to overhaul traditional labor arrangements and reduce overall costs, the press release said.

Anyone who says hybrid working is saying Microsoft Teams. Motorola is also announcing a “Walkie Talkie” feature for the Teams mobile application. This allows you to answer a Teams call like a regular phone call. Windows 365 support and walkie-talkie functionality will be available for the ThinkPhone in the coming weeks.
