As reported by Ukrinform, this was highlighted by Mykhailo Fedorov, Minister of Innovations, Education, Science and Technology Development – Digital Transformation, in his speech during the iForum IT conference.
“A technological revolution in the field of UAVs has already begun in the last year. Within the framework of the “Army of Drones” project, we have eliminated all the bureaucracy for work, increased the margin to 25%, simplified all commissioning procedures. Some Ukrainian companies have increased the production of UAVs hundreds of times” said.
But to win the war, more needs to be done, as the Deputy Prime Minister emphasized. Everyone involved in technology needs to channel their potential to the benefit of the defense forces.
“The next task is to scale the experience in the field of UAVs to other areas of military innovation. Start the REB Army and Robot Army. “Our team is ready to cooperate with anyone who can help technologically strengthen the front,” said Fedorov.
As reported, the Cabinet of Ministers this year allocated 40 billion hryvnia for investment in Ukraine’s drone production.
