As reported by Ukrinform, he stated this in an interview with CNBC.
“Elon has long been talking about X, the app for everything. Even when we announced I was joining the company, I joined the company to work with Elon to turn Twitter into X, the app for everything,” said Jaccarino.
According to him, the company’s rebranding is linked to faster implementation of new features on the platform.
“If you stay on Twitter or continue with what your previous brand was, change will usually only be gradual. And at X we think what is possible, not a gradual change of what cannot be done,” the new general manager added.
He also noted that Musk has been working on changing the name of the company since he bought Twitter last year.
As Ukrinform reports, American billionaire Elon Musk will auction a blue bird-shaped sign and other memorabilia from the Twitter building a few weeks after its rebranding.
