WipEout was undoubtedly one of the first PlayStation titles of the first generation, which decisively contributed to the fact that video consoles will no longer be considered entertainment for children. Its futuristic aesthetics, its hypnotic soundtrack, its ability to convey an incredible sense of speed, and overall the maturity of its design, marked the pre- and post-dominant generation wars to see which family member it had. play in all circumstances.

Signed by the Liverpool studio, better known as Psygnosis and that during its existence (Sony closed it in 2012 after its previous acquisition) it offered us other great classics like Lemmings, Destruction Derby (when is the remaster of this gem of destruction?) and the game Mundo Disco, WipEout marked and before and after in the perception of speed in games. Due to the huge success of the first part, it became a franchise that came to add nine original titles, as well as remastering two of them, which were revealed in 2017.

Something that, on the other hand, would make the most sense since she has shown no interest in re-releasing the game in those 28 years.

So if the first two arrived a few months ago ports for PC, programmer Dominic Szablewski did a much more subtle and careful job, which he finally offered web version of the first WipEout, in an edition that, as it is verified practically from the first moment, has been honed in depth.
