The Singaporean company has expanded its catalog of wireless headphones with the Creative Zen Air DOT, a new model under the Creative Zen Air category cheap headphonesalthough they retain a good design and have quite an interesting level of features, as we will see below.
Before I talk about its specifications, I want to dwell on the exterior design for a moment. Creative Zen Air DOT they are made of plastic and they have a two-tone black finish that makes for quite a nice contrast as we found ourselves matte black tone on the outside and ending inward glossy black on the inner face.
The headphone line combines minimalistic approach with small angular nuances which overall fits quite well and the case has a rounded finish with glossy black accents that also contrast very nicely with the dominant matte black hue. There’s nothing to argue about, Creative has done a good job on the design side.
Creative Zen Air DOT they have a weight of 33 gramsso they are very light. They are IPX4 certified, which means they are waterproof, and they also have a system touch control which will allow us to easily control the reproduction of our favorite music.
Inside we find a 13mm neodymium transducer which have been modified to offer good sound quality, always bearing in mind that we are talking about small and light headphones and that their price is 29.99 euros. I didn’t have the chance to test them, but I can confirm from my own experience that Creative usually does not disappoint, and its cheapest headphones almost always scratch at a good level.
The battery that integrates the Creative Zen Air DOT promises an autonomy of up to 7 hours, and thanks to the battery included in the transport and charging case, we can enjoy full autonomy up to 24 hours. If you run out of battery, nothing happens, just put them in the case for a while to charge and that’s it, you can continue to enjoy your favorite music.
Despite the fact that we are dealing with cheap headphones, the Creative Zen Air DOT does not give up anything. They also have two integrated microphones that detect ambient sound and use ECN noise reduction technology analyze and filter unwanted noise, which means that we can use them to receive and call and that our voice will sound good even in a very noisy environment.
They are compatible with Bluetooth 5.3, have a range of up to 10 meters and support Siri and Google Assistant. As I said, their price is 29.99 euros and they are already available on the official website of Creative.
