Petro denied reports of drug traffickers supporting his campaign

Colombian drug trafficker Juan Carlos Lopezknown under the pseudonym “Sobrino” and extradited to the United States in 2013, allegedly supported the campaign incumbent Colombian President Gustavo Petro in the Department of Casanare (East), according to an investigative report denied by the president.

According to Petro, “the person in charge of the Casanar campaign is called Sonia Bernal, not Sonia Navarro.”as stated in the report, and asked Colombia Humana to proceed through the courts before the report.
