China announced on Monday the successful launch of the Kuaizhou-1A launch vehicle (“Fast Boat-1A”) with five new satellites on board.
This was reported by Xinhua, which Ukrinform reported.
The launch took place from the Xichang Cosmodrome in Sichuan Province (southwest China).
The satellites, labeled with the letters of the Latin alphabet from A to E belonging to the “Head-3” (“Head-3”) microsatellite group, were launched at 13:32 Beijing time and successfully entered the planned orbit.
It was noted that it will mainly be used to provide commercial services in the field of remote sensing.
For carrier rockets of the “Kuaizhou-1A” series, this flight was the 27th.
As reported by Ukrinform, China successfully launched a new satellite “Ludi tanze 4-01” (L-SAR4 01) from the Xichang Cosmodrome in Sichuan province on Sunday.
