Tesla has launched two cheaper versions of the Model S sedan and Model X SUV in the US, but with less range, so it remains focused on cutting costs to increase sales.

The new Model S and X will cost $78,490 and $88,490 respectively, which is about 10% cheaper than previous budget models. They will be ready for delivery from September-October this year.
The lowest price for a car is for electric cars with “pearl white” exterior and all black interior, other colors will cost more.
It is stated that the new Model S sedan has a range of up to 515 km, which is less than previous versions with a range of up to 652 km.
The new Model X SUV has a range of up to 433 km, which is less than previous versions with a range of up to 560 km.
The Austin, Texas-based automaker has lowered prices in the US, China and other markets since late last year and offered other incentives to reduce its inventory as it tries to fend off competition and economic uncertainty.
